
In a significant operation targeting drug trafficking in Dublin’s North Metropolitan Region, Gardaí conducted a search in Ballymun on Tuesday morning, uncovering controlled drugs with an estimated street value of €149,100. The raid was led by the Ballymun Divisional Drugs Unit, with support from the Armed Support Unit, Ballymun Detective Unit, and Ballymun Community Response Team.
During the search, authorities seized approximately €87,500 worth of suspected heroin and €61,600 worth of suspected cocaine. A man in his 30s was arrested at the premises and detained at a North Dublin Garda station. He has since been released from custody, and a file is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
